Q. OK, I want to send you my laptop or desktop what do I do next?

A: Click add to cart on our services page. Follow the instructions to check-out securely though PayPal. If you have a PayPal account, you can sign in, if not feel free to use it as a guest and use a major credit card.  Next, download the form above, fill it out, include it in the inside of your package. Lastly, box up your laptop securely and send it through the shipping provider of your choice. 

Q: How much does the repair cost?

A: Our flat rate repairs for your laptop or desktop are just $149.99. This takes the guess work out of knowing how much your repair will cost. Our flat rate repair service covers one issue with your laptop. More than one issue will be diagnosed for free and you will be notified before any additional repairs are done. 

Q: What if the additional repairs are too expensive for me?

A: You will only be charged a return shipping fee. Your laptop or desktop will be repackaged and sent back to you. Any difference will be refunded via PayPal. 


Q: What happens if my repair is not covered under the flat rate repair service?

A: In the case that your laptop or desktop needs a motherboard, LCD screen or has more than one defective part, we will notify you before any additional repairs are done. Extra repairs will increase the turn around time for your repair.

Q: Why use The PC Doctor of PA instead of a local repair shop?

A: Chain stores and even some local computer stores claim they fix your computer, but actually ship it to Out-of-State repair centers. At The PC Doctor of PA our we diagnose, fix and ship your laptop directly to you. No third party repair centers are ever used. 

Q: I'm in the health care or insurance industrie, do you abide by H.I.P.P.A. rules?

A:  We abide by all rules as set forth by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services in regards to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.

Q. Will you back my data up for me in your flat rate repair service?

A: We highly reccomend you back up your data before shipping your laptop or desktop to us. Some repairs remove data and installed programs from your laptop. The PC Doctor of PA is not responsible for any loss of data or software. Please see our Terms of Service below. 


Terms of Service

This Contract is between The PC Doctor of PA, Inc., located at 626 Onward Ave. Phoenixville, PA 19460, ("The PC Doctor of PA") and you, The PC Doctor of PA´s customer ("Customer" or "you").

Customer understands that The PC Doctor of PA *is not responsible* for any data loss while Customer’s computer is being serviced. The customer may request The PC Doctor of PA to back up the system data before any service is begun to a disk(CD/DVD/Hard Drive) for a $75.00 fee per hour non-refundable charge. Temporary System Data back-ups done by The PC Doctor of PA is to help insure data integrity only and will not be made available to any other customer. Customer understands that even if The PC Doctor of PA backs-up the system data, there is still a possibility of loss of data, complete or partial. Customer further understands that faulty system hardware may cause the loss of data, complete or partial, during the repair is not the responsibility of The PC Doctor of PA, Inc.

The PC Doctor of PA is only responsible for investigating and/or repairing the issues specifically provided by Customer under the "Problem Summary" portion of the work order, and that The PC Doctor of PA is not responsible for investigating any other potential issues not related to those items.

An explanation was given to Customer concerning the work/costs involved in the repair of the computer. The PC Doctor of PA assumes no responsibility for damages or failures associated with faulty or obsolete installed hardware/software in Customer’s computer once repairs have begun. Replacement of obsolete hardware/software is solely Customer’s responsibility. Customer understands that once service/diagnostics has begun on the computer, The PC Doctor of PA does not give refunds for any reason.

Warranty for Work Performed
The PC Doctor of PA makes no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied for hardware installed in the customer's computer. The manufacturers hardware warranty will apply to all hardware replaced, see the manufacturer’s documentation for additional information. For follow up repair the customer must contact The PC Doctor of PA within 5 days following the repair by telephone and speak with a PC Doctor repair representative about the problem being experienced. The PC Doctor of PA will solely determine if the malfunction the customer is experiencing is a problem with the service provided by The PC Doctor of PA. The PC Doctor of PA will let the customer know if he/she will owe any additional fees for the computer repair.
